No reason to complain, the venue exceeded all expectations. We have stayed here for 3 days and would book again, it is exceptionally comfortable and spotless hotel with great location in the pretty garden. Location: the venue was really close to centre of nice old town, and local restaurants. We stayed in a spacious and beautiful room that had a work desk, coffee/tea making machines, and TV...

Clean and beautifully decorated room with a comfortable bed. The hotel's location is very convenient, just a short walk from the main square. The garden is a great place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The staff could have been more accommodating when it came to dog policies. The pet policy was not as friendly or welcoming as advertised, with limited dog-friendly areas.

The hotel exceeded our expectations in several aspects. the value for money was excellent, with affordable prices for such a delightful stay. Secondly, the attention to detail was evident throughout, from the beautifully maintained garden to the comfortable rooms overlooking it. Lastly, the location at the 'garden part' allowed us to easily explore not only the town but also the surrounding towns like La Rochelle. Additionally, the friendly staff provided great service, making our stay even more enjoyable.
All was great, nothing to improve upon.

We had a super special stay at an absolutely glorious boutique hotel. The building was filled with exposed ancient stone and beams, creating a cozy and atmospheric atmosphere. The hosts, Sandrine and Francois, were incredibly charming and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The croissants and homemade baguette for breakfast were absolutely divine, and Sandrine even prepared a packed lunch for us when we were out all day. The Table d'Hote dinner was fabulous, with Sandrine showcasing her superb culinary skills. The hotel also had a lovely walled garden where we could relax and unwind. we had a truly amazing experience at this hotel.

Loved the lively city atmosphere at night, indulged in a delicious continental breakfast each morning, and enjoyed free and secure parking for my bike. Such a memorable big party hosted by a young couple. A visit to the Museum of Saint Jean d'Angely was a cultural delight. Loved the breathtaking view from the terrace.
Oh, and how can I forget the unforgettable computer at my disposal!

We had an amazing stay at this charming hotel! the staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere. the beautiful patio garden was a great place to eat our meals, and the hotel's location was superb. We were very close to all the main attractions and the room was clean and comfortable. the hotel was great value for money and we appreciated that breakfast was included. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing by the area.
We found a couple of aspects less than perfect. the beds were a bit too soft and low, and sometimes we found ourselves rolling towards the center.

The hotel is tucked away in a quiet location with lovely surroundings, making it a great base for exploring the area. the rooms are clean and well-furnished, and some offer garden views or access to a pretty enclosed garden. the staff are welcoming and accommodating, and the breakfast is reportedly good.
One reviewer mentioned the owner knocking on the door to ask children to quiet down at night, which could be an interruption for some guests.
